My name is Kelsey Heineck, I am a 27 year old self taught metalsmith. Two years ago I started wondering how jewelry was actually made and was surprised to find it wasn't at all what I thought it'd be. I absolutely fell in love with the process of every aspect and knew I needed to get my hands on some tools to make things I find beautiful and that hopefully other people found beautiful as well. I have always been drawn to magical relics and trinkets even as a little girl I remember always admiring my mother and grandmothers jewelry. Jewelry to me isn't just something you wear, it is a way to show people who you are and what you find special.

Myth & Metal Co. is a small batch jewelry studio creating handmade pieces inspired by the beauty of nature, myth & the magic in-between. Every piece is designed & crafted by my hands using Silver, Gold & natural gemstones. Some are fabricated from sheet & wire and some begin as wax and are transformed through casting but each one is made slowly, intentionally & with its own little bit of character. I don't want my jewelry to feel like something you simply bought. I want it to feel like something you found. Something collected.
